Creative Director, educator

Donna Martin is the owner and visionary behind Beyond the Fringe Hair Designs, a progressive salon nestled in Hillsborough Township in central New Jersey. With over 40 years of experience behind the chair, Donna brings a rare depth of expertise and passion to her craft.

A Certified Redken Hair Colorist, Donna has honed her artistry under some of the industry’s most respected names, including Martin Parsons, Randy Rick, Roy Peters, John Delaria, Beth Minardi, and Graham Webb. She has also continued to sharpen her skills through numerous Redken Exchange Classes and Symposiums, staying at the forefront of evolving techniques and trends.

Donna’s dedication to continued education and mastery of color and design is the foundation on which Beyond the Fringe was built — a salon committed to bringing clients the highest level of artistry and personalized care.

Premier Stylist

Stacey has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2008 and joined the Beyond the Fringe team in 2008. She attended the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia where she styled hair for the 2008 Drexel Fashion Show. She has attended the Emiliani beauty shows in Atlantic City in 2007 and 2008, and taken classes at the Redken Exchange in New York City. Her courses include Men’s Cutting, Redken New Color Techniques, and Farouk Cutting and Coloring. Stacey is also a Redken Certified Colorist.  She is one of our makeup artists and a member of our Wedding Team.

Premier Stylist

Darlene has been a licensed cosmetologist for 29 years. She has formal training with Redken, Pureology, Goldwell, Organics, Matrix, Paul Mitchel, and Coppola.  Although she enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, her passion is highlighting and dimensional coloring. She has trained with industry greats such as Ray Peters, the Chadwicks, Beth Minardi, and Kim Vo.  Darlene is certified in Brazillian Blowout and Keratin Complex Smoothing treatments. She has been told that she has the patience of a saint and believes that continuing education is a must.

Premier Stylist

Kristin has been a licensed cosmetologist since May of 2014 and has been part of the Beyond The Fringe team since April 2014. She started as part of our Associate Program shadowing and learning from our senior stylists. She has attended classes at the Wella World Studio in NYC along with several Redken coloring, cutting, foiling, and technique classes to advance her education. Kristin is also one of our Bare Minerals makeup artists.

Stylist

Emma is a hardworking hairstylist who loves what she does—creating fresh, stylish looks for her clients. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends is important to Emma, so she can always offer the best service. When Emma is not at the salon, she enjoys hiking with her two dogs and spending time outdoors. She’s always looking for new adventures and ways to challenge herself, both in and out of the salon.
